DO NOT PUSH GOD
As a Christian I know that God had a plan for my life even before I
was born.
He knew exactly what He wants from each of His childrens lives.
What our assignment in life He gives us.
I have pondered on that for some time now.
God gave is free will.
He still has a plan for us.
He hopes we will come around and give Him our all.
Do we test God?
Have you ever gotten a word from the Lord and it just wasn't good
timing for you?
Do you go about your little unimportant job and ignore God?
You can say that your job is important.
I tell you the truth it is not.
Your most important job you have to do is to listen to the Holy Spirit
and go about Gods plan.
How long do you think you can go about doing your thing and ignoring
God?
I can't tell you how long but I can tell you that someone else will take
your place.
The other person will get the blessing you were suppose to get.
Are you going to get mad at God because He didn't wait longer on
you?
I am going to give you something to think about.
Say you hire someone to paint your house.
You tell them that you will give them a partial payment in 2 weeks.
He agrees with the terms.
But then a job comes up that pays more.
So he calls you and says he will start in a couple of days.
Two days go by.
Next thing you know you haven't seen him in 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 4
weeks.
So you call him but he ignores your calls.
Finally you get tired of waiting and hire someone else.
The new guy is there on time and is doing a good job.
Now the first guy comes by and says , hey that was my job.
Are you going to fire the new guy and give the job to the first guy?
Of course you are not going to.
So why do we push God in the same way.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit will have us to witness to someone.
But you are busy.
There is the shopping to do.
Company is coming and you want it to be very special.
So you say tomorrow I will talk to them.
But what if that was their last chance to ask Jesus into their hearts?
What if they got in an accident that very night and were killed?
Was that dinner party worth so much that the lost soul is lost forever?
How would you feel if it were your own child or relative?
Now how important is that dinner party?
But it should not make a difference if that lost soul was related or not.
That lost soul is condemed to hell because of a dinner party that does
not amount to a hill of beans.
Sometimes God will give us gifts.
But we don't use them.
The gifts we recieve are the gifts that should increase Gods Kingdom.
If you don't use them you could lose them.
God will give them to someone who is willing to use them.
To open themselves up to God so He can win the lost souls through
us.
People who would put the lost before a dinner party or a business
meeting.
Do you have a desire for a more intemate relationship with God?
Do you love Him for who He is even if you don't get blessed with
everything you ask for?
Do you love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind even when the
trials and tribulation come?
Are you thankful for all things good and bad because you know that
the Lord is with you in all things?
Are you willing to drop what you had planned to do His biding?
If you have answered yes to these 5 questions get ready to be used
in a mighty way by God.
Pray that the Lord will show you how He wants to work through you.
My prayer is that these words the Lord has given me will shine a light
on your own life.
That you will seek the Lord more.
I have done a bit of trying to push the Lord in my life.
The Lord has shown me the error of my ways.
He continues to show me just how much I need to learn.
So open yourself up and let the Lord show you what you need to
improve in your life.
It is not a comfortable place to be sometimes but necessary.
We are a stubborn bunch and sometimes it takes a bit for us to catch
on to what the Lord is trying to teach us.
My prayers are with all Christians that they would wake up and let the
Lord teach you what you need to know.
PRAISE GOD TE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
