ARE YOU IN THE VALLEY
Are you in the valley looking up at the mountain?
Does it seem like it is imposible to reach the top of the mountains that
surround you?
The sun comes up but in the valley it takes longer for the light to
reach you.
The night comes sooner too.
In the valley the grass is plush and green.
The flowers colors are brilliant.
The shadows are all around you.
You know that God is at the top of the mountain.
But every time you try to go up you slip back down.
You are tired an you get discouraged and quit trying to climb the
mountain.
There is a creek with cool clear water that is refreshing.
You lay down and cry when the darkness covers you.
The Lords angels are watching over you.
But you feel so lonely.
Many times God will put us in a valley for a time of teaching.
Also it is a time for rest.
Sometimes God just wants us to be still and know that He is God.
That He is in control.
I know that sometimes I get in a hurry.
God has to slow me down.
We tend to just jump in when we are not prepared for the next task.
In the valley the Lord will prepare us for the next task that He wants
us to do.
Sometimes we try to do things that were meant for someone else.
All of Gods children have gifts that will enable us to do the Lords
work.
But the timing has to be right.
When you are in the valley enjoy the lessons the Lord will teach you.
When it is time you will start up the mountain again.
Gods timing is perfect.
When God sends us up the mountain we are prepared.
He will be with us all the way.
Praise the Lord for the valley and the mountains.
Praise Him for the trials because we will always come out stronger.
Don't fear the darness in the valley because Gods angels are
protecting you.
Rmember we can do nothing on our own.
If it is of God it will always work out.
Remember Gods timing and His will guarentee success.
My prayer is that for all who read these words, (from the Lord), will
seek His will in all you do.
