We have all known someone who has been in a war.
They all tell one horror story after another.
The one that sticks in my mind is about the mine fields.
They would send the children in to look for the mines so the family
could get to the field where the rice was growing.
One soldier asked why do you send them in there that a mine
field?
The man and woman were old.
The man said because the children can see them better.
If the man or woman had gone in the field it would have been
like having blind folds on.
The soldier thought about that for a minute.
Then he said call her back.
I will check the field for you.
The man shook his head and said no.
Just about that time a mine went off.
He turned around and saw the girl on the ground.
Without thinking about his safety he ran into the field and carried
the girl out and back to the road.
From there they took her to hospital.
That story had a happy ending.
But most did not.
That soldier didn't have a blind fold on but I believe he could have.
The only thing he was focussed on was that little girl laying perfectly
still on the ground.
He had no idea if she was even alive.
I believe God lead that young man to the girl and back to the road
again.
In this day and age the whole world is a mine field for Christians.
It isn't bombs we have to worry about.
What we have to watch out for is the enemy putting all sorts of
things in that field.
There is porn, adultry, lying, stealing, murder, abortion, drugs, alcohol,
deception, unforgiveness, gossiping, and envey.
The list of sins can go on and on.
As Christians we know to watch out for those things and many more.
It is so easy to be pulled into such things if we don't keep our eyes
on Jesus.
The enemy knows the end of the story.
He know he will be locked in hell for eternity where there will be
no death.
Only the desire to die and be away from the pain and suffering.
The hate and anger will be forever.
Satan knows that.
So he made a plan to take as many with him as he can.
Christians get out of your comfort zone.
Stand up and form an army with Jesus as our leader.
Seek out those who are being decieved and bring them into the light.
Give them the truth and let Jesus take it from there.
Let the Lord lead you to the ones you are to talk to.
Some may not talk to me but they might listen to someone else.
The Lord knows who needs to talk to who.
The Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and direct you in all things.
What a person needs to understand how important it is to give our
hearts to the Lord.
Sometimes you won't even speak to them.
Maybe they need to have someone to be kind to them.
Like the soldier had faith knowing that the Lord will never mislead you.
I pray that all Christians will stand up and seek the truth.
Seek the Lord daily and really get to know Him through scriptures.
Serve Him in all that you do.
As you walk in the world searching for the lost keep your eyes on
the Lord.
Keep focused on what is important.
Don't be decieved by the things of the world.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
