YOUR FLESH WILL KILL YOU
When you hear your flesh will kill you what do you think?
Maybe skin cancer or something like that.
But God say our flesh must die before you can truly let God rule your
life.
Because God gives us free will we can either listen to the Holy Spirit
or our flesh.
The Holy Spirit will lead us to the path where we will find God.
If you listen to your flesh you will let the ways of the world rule your
life.
The enemy can whisper in your ear that you are not doing things the
way God wants.
That thought rattles around in your head for some time.
If you think on it too long it will work its way to your heart.
When I was a very young Christian a small voice told me I was just
like Judas.
God does not want you.
I was devestated.
I was in a new state, no church, and I did not know any Christians.
I tried praying but was not hearing anything.
I thought long and hard on it till finally it reached my heart.
I did it the way I, (my flesh), wanted to do things.
The time went by and the more depressed I got.
I was empty inside.
I grieved my loss of God in my life.
I actually pondered on suiside.
Just like Judas hung himself.
But God was not done with me yet.
Jesus came to me and talked to me.
He told me He loved me and had always loved me.
I ran back to Him and found the joy that had filled me all those years
ago.
The enemy works through your flesh.
The flesh will tell an alcoholic, oh one drink won't hurt you.
In the alcoholics heart they know that is a lie.
When the alcoholic thinks about it long enough it will get in the heart
and thats when the one drink is taken.
We al know that it did not stop at one drink.
Your flesh will keep your eyes off Jesus.
Your flesh will convince you that the truth is a lie and a lie is the
truth.
The flesh is selfish and only thinks of one self.
The flesh does not care if what they are doing hurts someone else.
The flesh does not care if it hurts you.
The flesh only looks at a moment and that at that moment it feels
right.
That is the philosophy of the world is if it feels good do it.
If this is what you choose for yourself you are well on your way to
hell.
Gods philosophy is love one another.
Reach out to the lost souls with the love God fills us with when we
ask Jesus into our hearts.
God is love.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God that lives in all Christians.
If you let Gods love guide you through life you are well on your way
to Gods Kingdom.
Just ask Jesus into your heart, the Holy Spirit will live within you and
lead you on the path God wants you on.
My prayer is that all who read this word from the Lord will pray that
their flesh will die.
It does not matter where you are in your walk with the Lord.
Your flesh will get in your way until your flesh dies and the Holy Spirit
completely rules your life.
My prayer for all of you is that your mind will be one with God.
That the Lord will renew your heart daily.
That you will always come to the Lord humbly.
