You were much too young to take care of it.

Mom said no that you weren't ready for the responsibility.

You practically begged pretty please with sugar on it?

Mom couldn't stand to look at her sweet little girl and say no.

But there were strings attached.

First of all you had to start with a smaller pet and take really good care of it.

You go to the pet shop and you are looking at the dogs, cats, and hampsters.

That wasn't moms idea of smaller pet.

She bought a fish bowl.

Uh oh, now you see what she is going to do.

She got rocks, a little castle, fish food and a book on how to care for gold fish.

Yep, just what you thought you were getting a fish.

You thought this is going to be so easy.

In a week or two you'd have your dog.

You get home and mom reads the book to you so you know how to take care of your 4 gold fish.

Mom helps you wash the fish bowl, rocks, and little castle.

Then we put water in the bowl and let the plastic bag with the fish sit in the water for a while.

You bounced from foot to foot till it was time to release the fish.

Mom warned you, you have to feed the fish everyday or they'll die.

Of course you got busy and forgot to feed the fish.

One morning there was a fish floating.

Oh no, you cried and told mom one of the fish looked sick.

Now you decide you weren't going to forget any more to feed the fish.

Instead you feed them every time you pass by the fish bowl.

You all know where this story ends.

The fish died one by one and the last fish went down the drain while you were trying to clean the fish bowl.

God pretty much does the same thing with His children.

When you first give your heart to the Lord, He won't expect much from you.

At first He only feeds you milk because you're not able to digest anything more than formula.

Then as you grow He gives you more substancial things like baby food, junior food, soft foods, and so on until you're eating steak and potatoes.

Your walk with the Lord carries a lot of responsibility.

First God will have you praying and learning to pray effectively.

Then you'll be learning the scriptures.

He will start having you witness to the lost.

God gives His children gifts that will help lead the lost to Him.

The more we grow and are faithful with our gifts the more gifts the Lord will give us.

But if you aren't faithful in the small things the Lord won't increase your gifts.

If the Lord tells us to witness to someone than we better listen.

It's true if you don't do it the Lord will have someone else do it.

They'll get the blessing that was intended for you.

There will be times when the Lord asks you to do something that puts you into a difficult situation.

As long as you do what the Lord asks you to do He will bless you.

If the one you went to doesn't receive the Lords word it's not your fault.

There will come a time that anyone who speaks the Lords name could mean their death.

We're not there yet but from the sighs we are in the last of days so we have to be strong in the Lord.

If you can't stand firm now in what the Lord asks us to do what are you going to do when it gets really rough.

Many times the Lord gives us things to do that really bless our hearts.

Even the youngest Christian can carry out those requests.

But God would never ask a young Christian to stand up to someone who has a demon in them.

Demons are real.

They live in those who are serving Satan.

Your walk with the Lord must be very very strong in order to cast demons out of someone.

If your not strong enough the demon may end up in the Christian that faces them.

There's a time coming when there will be spiritual warfare going on.

If you want to be part of that you must listen to God and follow His instructions.

From the little things all the way up to the very big things He will ask

us to do.

I pray that who ever reads this that they will want to be strong enough in the Lord to do His biding what ever it might be.

The Lords neds worriors.

Like David when he stood against the giant.

David knew God was with him and no harm would come to him.

From the beginning of time the Lord has been using the least likely to do very big jobs.

The least educated to go out and speak for Him.

If you are start today and do as the Lord asks of you.

He will honor you for your willingness to do as He asks.

God wil help you grow and lead you on the path He wants you on.

I pray all who read this will give these words the Lord has written sink in and inspire you to shoot for the ability to be a great worrior for the Lord.

Cry out to Jesus and ask Him to use you as He wishes and get ready to listen and obey.
