Have you ever noticed the guy that works out with weights?
He runs five miles a day.
His muscles are toned and he looks like he could take on the world.
What's on the inside?
The old saying you can't judge a book by its cover is so true.
They look strong on the outside but inside they are weak.
Their moral convictions are pretty much non existent.
They look for answers to any questions they might have to them selves.
If they were to turn to the Bible or a Christian they would appear to look weak.
They feel they have to be in control.
That is exactly what the world wants us to believe.
Then there is this guy in a wheel chair.
Just because he can't lift three hundred pounds doe not make him weak.
He has the Holy Spirit living within him
He lives his life serving God.
Maybe he teaches other who is in a wheel chair where their true strength is.
That one day they will run ten miles not just five.
The Lord had shown him that life is good.
No matter what the world says God is in control.
He gives each of us special gifts to share with others.
The gift to those who are less fortunate and to be able to witness to those who don't know the Lord.
If you are able to witness to someone who is down on their luck.
That is a strength that will help many people.
We have to admit to being weak.
Ask the Lord into our heart.
Our strength comes from the Lord and no where else.
What good is lifting three hundred pounds if you can't show love or compassion?
To run five miles a day is we can't encourage someone who is down and out.
So be strong in the Lord.
If you need three hundred pounds the Lord can handle that even if you can't.
Praise God the Father, Jesus our savior, and the Holy Spirit that lives within us.
