CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN
Have you ever wanted to climb a mountain?
Picture this and think about it.
At the bottom of the mountain there are hundreds even thousands of
people getting ready to climb the mountain.
We all start at the same level.
Then we take off one at a time.
The first part of the climb is fairly easy.
But you have to rest when you get up so high.
While you are resting others who started after you are going higher
up the mountain.
But all who are climbing must eventually rest.
The climb gets harder.
Some will stop becaue it is getting too hard for them.
Everyone climbing will stop when they just can't go on.
The further up the mountain fewer people continue.
The air gets thin and the clime harder.
But there will always be the ones that keep going higher.
There are some at the base of the mountain that will not climb at all.
There are some that wll make it to the top of the mountain.
There is no shame in those who stayed at the base.
No matter how high you went up the mountain you did the best you
could.
That mountain top is where we find God.
The ones that stayed at the base had been praying for those on the
mountain and praising God.
They were there because God wanted them there.
With every climber they made it to where God needed them.
The few that made it to the top were where they were suppose to be.
God loves everyone that comes to that mountain.
Each has their position on that mountain to be where God wants you.
The ones that stayed on the ground had a position that had to be
filled so that Gods plan would work.
The ones that made it to the top were not more important than those who stayed on the ground.
We are the Body of Christ and in order for the body to flow every
position has to be filled.
God will place each one where they will glorify Him the best.
As long as you are in Gods will you are doing exactly what His plan
was for you.
Praise the Lord that He doesn't expect a man with one leg to reach
the top of the mountain.
God will not expect us to do something that we are not capable of.
My point is that no matter how you are serving the Lord, as long as
you are in His will, you are where you are suppose to be.
Christians don't look at another Christian and wonder why they don't
want more of the Lord.
I have found myself asking that question before.
I pray that God will forgive me and all those I questioned about their
faith will forgive me too.
A very wise sister said to me, "don't worry about where others are in
the Lord, but pray that you are in Gods will."
God continues to teach me.
The rebuke hurts sometimes.
When God rebukes you for a behavior you need to change welcome it.
When you are in the fire God is purifying you.
It is not a comfortable place to be, but a necessary procedure, but
where we learn the most about how God works.
God teaches us the error of our ways in that fire too.
Praise the Lord that He loves us enough to correct us.
The alternitive would be to give up on us.
It has also shown me never to giveup trying to reach the lost souls.
I praise the Lord that He did not give up on me when I walked in the
ways of the world for so long.
Don't give up on a lost loved one.
God did not give up on you.
My prayer is that all who read this message, from the Lord, will make
it a daily prayer that they are in Gods will.
When and if He wants to move you up that mountain He will let you
know.
Until then enjoy your relationship with the Lord.
It is the sweetest and most beautiful place to be.
My prayers are with all who read this message from the Lord.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
