THE GIFT OF PROPHECY
This gift of all gifts that will make you the most unpopular person.
But it is also one of the most awesome gifts if you desire to be close
to the Lord.
In the Old Testament you read a lot about the prophets.
They didn't have an easy time of living a peaceful life.
They brought warnings to kings that could have been cause for the
lose of their heads.
Most Kings thought since they had their own kingdom their word could
not be challenged.
God protected His prophets then and He wll today.
It is still hard.
When people see you coming they think it is always bad news.
Since my husbands gift is prophecy I see it first hand.
There have been times when I have done something wrong in Gods
eyes and many times I get the word from my husband.
Even though God is telling me to change my ways I welcome those
words.
I don't know about you but I want to do the right thing when it comes
to serving God.
I've seen first hand people getting angry because they did not like
the word that was given.
They think that if they don't hear it from God themself that it is not
true.
I am very proud that my husband continues to give the word even if it
is not good news.
Of course there are times that there is good news.
When the good news is given there is joy and he had heard from the
Lord.
All I have to say is what hypocrites you are.
Do you think you are so perfect that you never make a mistake?
When your children where growing up did you ever have to tell them
that they did something wrong?
Didn't your parents ever reprimand you for anything?
Did it make them bad because everything they said was not a good
word?
How do you think you learn?
Someone points out what you are doing wrong so you can change the
way you do things.
God is not happy when we rebuke one of His prophets.
When God anoints someone in a position we are to honor them.
At the very least respect them.
When the Holy Spirit gves my husband a word it is not good to rebuke
the word.
You are just about to cross a line you don't want to cross.
The only sin God will not forgive is to rebuke the Holy Spirit.
I just don't think you want to go there.
When you get a word from someone with the gift of prophech listen
and take it to heart.
God loves you so very much that He does not want you doing things
that are not good for you.
Things that you could get hurt or worse.
My prayer is that when you recieve a word that you will make sure
it lines up with the Bible.
Then if it does work on what ever behavior the Lord wants you to
change.
Remember that you are loved so much Jesus died for you.
He set you free from your sins.
He wants to spend eternity with you in Gods Kingdom.
I am praying for all who read these words the Lord had me write down.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
