BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE
This time of the year is really hard on a lot of people.
More people commit suicide this time of the year than any other time.
They are usually lost souls.
The loneliness over welms them.
No one comes by and it seems like there is no reason to keep going.
Do you know anyone who is alone?
If you do go see them.
Invite them over for a meal.
Minister to them.
Give them a Bible if they don't have one.
Invite them to church.
If they need help find out how you can serve them.
Maybe they could use some help cleaning house.
Help them with their dishes.
Be a friend to them.
You would be surprised how much of a blessing you would be to them.
Go to the nursing homes and ask which of the people don't have
anyone come to see them.
Once a week go by talk to them.
They love to talk about their younger years.
Help them through the holidays by being a friend.
A lot of elderly people just give up on life and die around the
holidays.
Being a blessing to someone will bless you more than recieving a
blessing.
To share the love God Has filled us with.
Too many lost souls are over looked and no seeds ever get planted.
Christians it is time we make a difference.
The smallest things will bless someones socks off.
Think of all the times the Lord blessed you with a simple thing like a
loaf of bread.
You had no money, transportation, and you had fallen into a deep
depression.
Then for some reason someone you had not seen for a while stopped
by and gave you some home made bread.
I am sure they didn't think of it as a blessing.
But to you it was an awesome blessing.
The depression lifted and you praised the Lord for the blessing of the
bread.
When someone thanks you for the blessing you touched them with
don't say oh it was nothing.
Say you are very welcome I thought of you and wanted you to have
it.
Let them know that they are important to you and that you think of
them.
Let them know that they are not alone.
Do not do it so man will put you on a pedistool.
Do it because you truly love all people whether they are Christians or
a lost soul.
When you give let it be from your heart.
That is the only way that God will recognize your good works.
Do it to be serving the Lord.
Minister to the lost souls every chance you get.
You never know which seed will take and start growing.
Christians our goal is to increase Gods Kingdom.
Remember to keep them in your prayers.
God will bless you for all those you have blessed.
But beware, if you are doing it just for Gods blessings there will be no
blessing coming your way.
God sees into your heart.
He knows why you do what you do.
Do it expecting nothing in return because it is coming from you heart.
Reach out to those who need help.
The Bible tells us it is better to give than to recieve.
It is so true.
If you give someone a gift don't expect anything in return.
Reach out to the lonely because you may be saving their lives.
My prayer is that all who read these words, the Lord gave me to
write, will take them to heart and reach out to those in need of
help, those who are lonely, and the lost souls.
It is time to plant seeds in the lost and lead them into the light.
