Have you ever experienced growing pains?
As a kid with each stage in your life you had to learn lessons about
living.
When a child speaks their first word they're surprised.
The sound of their own voice can sometimes scare them.
When they begin to walk they hold onto something.
Then they let go and go for the first step without holding on to
something.
When they do fall have you ever noticed the look on their face?
Total shock but it didn't really hurt because with the padded diapered
bottom it was a pretty soft landing.
But because of the shock they start crying.
With every one of lifes experiences they become more confident.
With the growing process comes many emotions.
There is fear, joy, anger, frustration, and the list goes on.
I am growing in the Lord.
Every time the Lord uses me I feel really afraid.
The fear of disappointing my Lord bears down on me hard.
I'm beginning to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit when He tells me to
do different things.
Writing these words are part of it.
I am usually a pretty quiet person and don't like to draw attention to
myself.
My God in all His wisdom is starting to use me in situations where I
have to talk to people and groups more.
I have gone to bed many a night praying and crying out to the Lord.
I still don't know where the Lord is taking me in my life experiences
in Him.
I am learning to keep myself open to the Lords biding.
All I know is that the Lord would never have me doing something that
I'm not capable of doing.
I also know that greater is He that lives within me than he who is of
the world.
I love serving my God.
But that doesn't make everything easy either.
With every expeience I worry, what if I stumble and fall?
Will I discourage someone from coming to the light?
Will I cause someone to turn away from the Lord forever?
I called out to the Lord last night and He comforted me.
He showed me that as long as I listen to the Holy Spirit it will be all
right.
My question to the Lord was in these times there will be many false
prophets, how will I know when it is you speaking to me?
The Lord said, If you have a question I will give you confirmation in
one way or another.
But this is all part of your training.
If like me, you are being trained for a position the Lord has planned
for you just keep your eyes on Jesus.
If the fear creeps into your thoughts just remember that fear is the
opposit of faith.
God doesn't give His children the spirit of fear.
The enemy wants us to be afraid so the Lord can't use us in the plan
He made for our lives.
God gives us faith.
That we know in our hearts that the Lord is with us.
He will never leave or forsake us.
Humble yourself before the Lord.
With each life experience in the Lord rejoice.
Give Him all the glory.
My prayer is that all Christians will open themselves to the Lord so He
can work through you.
Wake up each day anticipating how wonderful it will be serving the
Lord today.
That you'll welcome each and every life experience in the Lord.
And above all don't let the enemy scare you off the path the Lord is
leading you on.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS
