Fathers day is coming soon and we will honor our dads.
Sometimes the dads get pushed back and the moms get credit for raising the children.
What is the fathers role in the family?
Dad is suppose to be the head of the family.
Dad is the bread winner.
Dad teaches his children by example.
He works hard and always does his very best.
He shows his children how to love his mate.
He teaches his children the importance of honesty.
How to have a good character and the importance of it.
He teaches his children to be strong and reliable.
When dad makes a promise he always honors the promise.
By far dads most important role is to lead his family in the ways of the Lord.
To love his children even when they've done something wrong.
He teaches them that when you do something wrong there are consequences that you have to accept.
He teaches his children about forgiveness.
Our heavenly Father forgives us and we must learn to forgive others too.
Dad teaches us to be responcible and contribute to the family.
Dad teaches us not to be self centered to put others bfore yourself.
He teaches us to treat others the way you want to be treated.
Dad is pretty much the back bone of the family.
If dad is of the world he is sending out all the wrong messages.
That's when mom needs to step up to the plate and pinch hit.
But to do the things that need to be taught she must show the children through the Bible.
Our Heavenly Father has outlined the role that is expected of each family member.
When dads home kids feel safe.
Dad gives us hope of better days ahead.
Dad makes sure there is peace in the family.
Dad makes us laugh with his funny stories and corny jokes.
When we are down dad cheers su up.
He praises us for a job well done.
When we are discouraged over a situation dad encourages us to keep trying.
Have you ever wondered where dad gets his joy, peace, hope, and love?
He gets all those things from his Heavenly Father.
Dads aren't given enough credit for their contribution to the family.
Next time you get aggevated at your dad or husband think about how much they do for the family.
Start giving him the respect he deserves.
Then praise your Heavenly Father for keeping your dad safe.
For teaching your dad how to be a good and loving dad.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
