JUST WAIT
Has God ever promised you something through a word?
The first time I got a word on a blessing I thought I'd have it within
a month or two.
I went to the Lord and asked, you said I would have the car fixed.
My answer came quickly.
The Lord said, be patient my child in my timing.
Then the Lord reminded me of a time when my son needed new shoes.
It was a week and a half before I would get paid.
So I told my son in 1 1/2 weeks mom will get paid and he'd get his
shoes then.
Everyday he would ask me if I got paid yet.
After 3 days we circled the day I got paid in red and everyday he
would cross off the day.
By the time pay day got there I said I'd never do that again.
A week and a half is far too long to anticipate getting new shoes for a
3 year old.
I asked the Lord to forgive me and now I wait because what the Lord
showed me made me feel like my son at 3 years old.
Makes me wonder why our heavenly Father is so patient with us.
Can you imagine having 5 billion kids all saying I want this and I want
it now?
Oh my, I wonder if God has pulled out all His hair dealing with us since
the beginning of time.
God knew every person that has been born on the earth before they
were born.
God loves us even knowing what a mess we would be.
We ought to be very thankful that God loves us and desires to bless
all His children.
Just think about it God loves us, blesses us, has faith in us, and even
trusts us.
That truely amazes me I don't know about you but my God is good
even when He knew that we would disappoint Him time and time
again.
I know that I have been a pain in the neck and how He can love and
and have faith in a mess like me it blows my mind.
So at 58 I am finally learning to wait on Gods timing.
God supplies all our needs plus all the things we don't ask for.
Sometimes it seems like it isn't going to happen.
But then 2 days before the power was going to be shut off the money
came in to pay the bill with a little left over.
Sometimes it is a test.
The Lord gets right down to the wire to see if we trust and have faith
in Him.
I have failed that test before and ashamed that my flesh let the Lord
down.
So we go back to square one and He starts the lessons over again
until I get it right.
It is so much better to learn the lessons the first time around.
Some of the lessons aren't very much fun but I wouldn't change the
time that I've had with the Lord learning what I need to know.
There are times when I have watched someone try to do it their way.
They think it will work better.
Guess what folks they all went back to square one and had to start
over again just like I had to.
But in our minds we think we have a better idea like Ford Motor Co.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord gave me, will
learn from my mistakes and wait on the Lord. Not only that but
you will be thankful for the love, faith, and trust God has for us.
We are truely blessed.
God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
