ENVY WILL STUNT YOUR GROWTH
Envy will keep you from God and your growth in the Lord will be
stunted.
For the babies in the Lord don't look at a brother or sister in the
Lord and envy the gifts of the spirit they have.
The Bible says envy will bring confusion in and it is demonic spirit.
The enemy uses envy so that there is so much confusion there is no
place for the Lord.
Even though there is just one person with the spirit of envy it will
make it hard for those who are seeking the Lord to grow because
of the confusion.
The sad thing is the one who is envious holds the whole group down.
If there are babies in the group they won't find the peace, comfort,
joy and love that they were seeking.
There is the possibility that they will return to the world to find what
they long for.
God has a plan for each of His children.
He gives us spiritual gifts that we use to reach the lost souls.
Each of the gifts are important tools that will lead the lost into the
light.
With every lost soul that is lead into the light the Kindom is increased.
A Christian should never envy another for any thing whether it is
material things or spiritual gifts.
God loves all of us and wants to bless us with all our needs and some
of our wants.
But God will not bless those who envy others.
God can't teach someone who is envious or self serving.
You see anyone who puts themself first is making themself a god.
That puts our Lord Jesus Christ below them.
God will not stand for that from anyone and you are walking on shaky
ground if that is what you are doing.
Satan was envious and self serving and look what that got him.
I don't want to be where he is for sure.
I pray that it isn't something that you want.
God doesn't limit us to one gift.
If there is a gift you would like to work in pray and ask the Lord.
Maybe the gift you are praying for diesn't work in Gods plan for you.
But that doesn't mean that He won't give you another gift that will
work better for you and the plan that God has for you.
Don't envy material things either.
We know that the Lord has prepared a place for us in Heaven.
All the things on the earth are junk compared to the things of the
Kingdom of God.
So why worry about the things of this world?
Thank God for what you have.
Praise and worship Him for He is worthy.
Keep your eyes on the Lord.
When you set your eyes on the things of the world you are
separating yourself from God.
God tells us in His Word how we should behave.
It is up to us to either follow Jesus or follow the ways of the world.
I know where God wants you but He can't force you to worship Him.
He gave us free will.
We have to go to Him because we want Him as Lord of our life.
My prayer is that if you are reading these words the Lord gave me,
and you see that you have the spirit of envy on you that you
will ask for forgiveness and ask the Lord to take that spirit from
you because it is not of the Lord but of the enemy.
