God made us in His likeness.
He has a plan for all of our lives.
His scriptures tell us how we should live.
The world has a different plan for our lives than Gods plan.
There are so many Christians walking around sick.
Too many of us are over weight.
I'm one of those who could, (actually need to), loose a lot of the weight I'm carrying around.
It leads to a lot of problems.
Not only do your legs and back go out on you but your internal organs have to work harder.
Your heart for one when it stops working that's all she wrote.
The world wants us to buy prepackaged food because it's easy and quick.
You get hungry what do you grab to eat?
A bag of chips, candy bar, or cookies.
Or do you get a handful of grapes, an apple, orange, carrots, or celery?
My guess is that most of us grab the chips or something sweet.
Not only that but how much red meat do you eat?
How much butter do you put on your toast or baked potato?
Those things all add up to lots of extra pounds for our bones to carry around.
That weight goes on so easy and fast.
Did you ever notice how hard it was to get rid of it?
I have a lot of health issues because of my weight.
One of which is diabetes which affects my whole body.
The Lord came to me in my sleep.
He told me He needed His children to be strong for the hard times that were coming.
He told me to start eating only the good things He made for us.
It isn't a sin to eat a piece of chocolate cake.
But if you do that 3 times a day it's too much.
Go for the things with the natural sugar.
Fruits are a good source of natural sugar like grapes, cantalopes, watermelon, and so on.
Eating red meat isn't a sin either.
But come on do we have to eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
What about 2 meals with no meat at all.
Dairy products are good too.
There are so many good choices to choose from why do we lean toward all the bad stuff?
Could it be because they advertise al the stuff the world wants you to eat.
You know that the enemy doesn't want you to be healthy and strong.
He wants us to be weak and sick.
Unable to fight a good fight against whatever he wants to throw at us.
He wants us to believe we can't live without all that fast food.
All you need is a crock pot.
Fix smething healthy, turn it on in the morning before you go to work.
When you get home all you'll have to do is set the table say a blessing over the food and eat.
Now that's what I call fast food.
Say you went to wendys to get a quick dinner.
First you have to wait in a long line because half the people in town are doing the same thing,
You get your food ordered and then you wait again.
With all the waiting you have done you could have been home already.
On top of that the food you are eating is full of grease.
Do you know if that cook that fixed your food washed his or her hands when they went to the rest room?
I know that isn't a pleasant thought but it is true we don't know.
Go ahead and have a treat once in a while.
Take the chips to the cook out.
Have a few cookies or a small piece of cake.
Watch what you drink too.
Cut back on the soda, fruit juice and kool-aid.
Fruit juice is good if you make it yourself but store bought is packed with sugar.
It will be hard at first to change your eating habits but don't give up.
Ask the Lord to help you resist the temptations of the candy bars at the check out at the store.
God loves us and He wants only the best for His children.
Teach your children good eating habits.
Don't set bad examples by eating fast food for lunch everyday.
Pack a lunch with the good stuff.
If you want to know more just call on the Lord.
He will tell you or send someone to you that knows about diet.
If you talk to a dietitian make sure they're a Christian so you get the facts right.
I'm praising the Lord for the insight I received today.
I pray thatif you're reading this and are in the same boat I'm in you'll feel the need to change bad habits we've grown
accustom to.
Join me in the fight to be healthy and strong for the days ahead.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
