Have you ever met someone who said they didn't need friends?
They didn't want to have a family.
When they're around other people they don't talk.
They just stand back and listen.
They don't contribute to the conversation.
Only when they are asked a question do they reapond.
It's always a clipped answer.
Either a yes or no answer if they can get by with it.
Deep down they're probably very lonely.
God made us to be socialable.
As Christians we know we need the fellowship with our sisters and brothers in the Lord.
Family is also part of God's plan for us.
There are a lot of reasons why someone will shut down and not allow anyone to get close.
If you stand alone when things go wrong it can make the situation a lot worse than it is.
You could become depressed and loose you zest for life.
The Lord can help you through the bad times.
But first you have to ask the Lord to come into your life.
If you have been hurt in the past let it go.
The Lord will lead you to people that will be all weather friends.
I've met people that claim to be a friend.
But if the road gets rough they are never around.
They are fair weather friends.
When you call them they are so busy they don't have time to come to help you.
They have a a whole page of excusses why they aren't available.
If you have a friend that's there for you whether you're having a good day or bad those are your all weather friends.
God created us to worship Him.
That terlls me even God doesn't want to be alone.
After all he did create us in His likeness.
Everyone needs someone they can turn to when there are storms in our lives.
It really does feel good to help someone who is having a hard time.
If you are standing alone you are missing the blessing of having someone to turn to you for help.
Not only that but you could be a blessing to someone when they're in trouble.
There will always be people out there that only care about themselves.
They don't care who they hurt in the process.
By not allowing yourself to open up your heart and take a chance you could be missing a huge blessing.
So open your heart and ask the Lord to lead you to people who truly love the Lord.
He'll put people in your life that will make living a pleasure.
So get out of that corner and open your heart.
You will be blessed.
