There were a couple people in my life that really impressed me.
One of them was Mary.
She's a Christian and she just hated gossip.
If she was in a group of people and they started gossiping, she was out of there.
But not leaving until she said something nice about the person.
Mary was really good doing crafts.
She taught a lot of people how to do things like candle making, potpourri, and drying flowers.
Everybody always left Mary's house feeling good about them selves.
If you weren't good at one craft she would find one that suited you.
If you went to Mary's because you felt really down by the time you left her house you felt really good.
Some of the people weren't Christians when they met Mary.
By the time they knew Mary for a while they became Christians.
She didn't have to beat them over the head with the Bible.
Mary is just a kind loving person that that caused us all to want to be like.
Mary's life was not always a bed of roses.
Maybe it was because there were thrones in her life.
Mary made up her mind to not focus on the thorns but how beautiful the roses are.
My challenge to all Christians is to live like Mary.
I never heard her go on a hum woe is me.
Encourage others by being positive.
When we meet someone whether they're Christians or not look for the good qualities in the people.
Oh, I am sure Mary was not perfect but she sure tried to be in God's will.
God loves the sinner even though they haven't seen the light yet.
I guess what really got me to thinking about Mary was my knee surgery.
I wasn't being a very good patient for Gary, (my husband).
Complaining about the heat up stairs the pain I was going through.
The challenge I set for you and I'm setting for myself too.
The joy, peace, and good nature we show toward non-Christians will draw them to the light.
Praise God the Father, Jesus our savior, and the Holy Spirit that lives within us.
