Have you ever seen a new born puppy or kitten?
Their eyes don't open up for a couple of weeks.
When they want to sleep they usually move away from the mother.
But when they wake up hungry they have to go in search for their mother.
Becuse their eyes are closed they have to search for the mother in the dark.
Soon they find the milk they've been seeking and they are content.
We are much like that puppy or kitten.
We're in a dark place and search for comfort and contentment.
We find doors and go into different rooms.
One has food and a little light.
One has a bed and a night light.
One has companionship and a small light.
But there are some rooms we should never enter.
Those rooms have drugs and are in the darkness.
But the drugs seem to bring you pleasure for a time.
But we are still searching for something but don't know what it is.
One room has pornography and is also in the dark.
We keep trying different doors but we can't see.
Most of the doors have the things of the world and we can't seem to find the happiness we are seeking.
The evil one tries to keep us in the dark.
We are unhappy but the enemy convinces us this is as good as it gets.
Then one day we hear a knock on one of the doors.
We feel our way over to the door.
We open the door and the light is so bright we have to cover our eyes until our eyes ajust to the light.
Jesus is standing at the door with His hand stretched out to us.
It's warm in the light.
The smell of a feast cooking in the light gets our attention.
A peace we never had in the darkness comes over us.
We have a choice, we can take Jesus hand and live in the light with the Lord.
Or we can close the door and live in fear in the darkness.
Living in the light we must learn to walk in the ways of the Lord.
Those that are living in the darkness will try to drag us back into the darkness.
As long as we keep our eyes on the Lord no one will be able to pull us into the darkness.
If you are doing evil things you can hide in the dark.
If you are living in the ways of the Lord there is no need to hide.
Hang on to Jesus and reach into the darkness and pull one of the lost souls into the light.
Living in the ways of the world is walking in the darkness.
It's easy to walk in the world because they say what ever feels good do it.
Walking with the Lord will not always be easy.
The people of the world will come against you and try to drag you down.
As long as you keep your eyes on the Lord and hang on to the promises He has given us there is nothing to fear.
When trials and tribulations come the Lord will carry you through them.
He will never leave or forsake you.
Our walk with the Lord is filled with love, joy, peace, and hope.
My prayer is the Christians through out the world will pull as many lost souls out of the darkness as they can.
To seek the lost and show them the love of the Lord.
So they will go to the Lord ask for forgiveness and begin to live for Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
