SHAKE OFF THE DUST
The Lord has been using me in new ways the last couple of months.
It was easy when all I had to do was write His words down and put
them into the web site.
He has been giving me visions that sometimes I don't understand and I
have to ask a brother or sister in the Lord what they mean.
Not only that but the Lord is having me give words to the brothers
and sister in our group.
For me that was a very hard thing to do.
But when the brothers or sisters came against me because of the
word the Lord gave me it really hurt.
I talked to my pastor and she said they were not rebuking me but
Jesus.
My thought at the time was how can man continue to nail Jesus to
the Cross.
Jesus said in scripture that if man will not accept the word you bring
leave and shake off the dust.
How sad that even Christians will not accept a word from our Lord
Jesus Christ?
I could feel the sadness in my spirit and began to cry.
I felt like Jesus was crying too.
Not for the reason that I thought though.
I thought the tears were because they hurt Him.
That is not so.
Jesus was crying because the word He gave me would have given
those, (who heard the word), a better quality in their lives.
I cried and prayed for those who would not hear.
Don't they realize how much Jesus loves them?
He wants so much more for them.
If they won't listen to one messenger Jesus will find a way to make
them listen.
Like Jonah did not listen.
He got on a boat and headed the opposite direction the Lord wanted
him to go.
The storm came and he was thrown over board.
The big fish swollowed him.
Now he had a choice so he finally called out to God.
The fish spit him out.
Jonah went and gave the word the Lord gave him to give.
Now it was up to the people to make their choice.
To listen to the word or not.
Praise the Lord, they chose to listen.
For me I will continue to pray that I give a word when the Lord asks
me to.
I don't want to end up in a big fishes belly.
If they choose to listen to the Lords word that is great.
We will all praise the Lord together.
But if they choose not to listen then I will just shake the dust off and
move forward.
If you are in a similar situation don't take it personally.
Keep giving the word and pray for thse who don't recieve the Lords
word.
Shake off the dust and keep moving forward.
I don't know where the Lord is taking me in this journey we are on.
When it is time He will show me what work He wants me to do.
I will just continue writing His words.
I will continue to give words to others.
One day everything will be clear as to what and how I will serve the
Lord.
My prayer is that all who read this word from the Lord will not be
discouraged by those who will not believe.
