LOOSE EVERYTHING &
BECOME RICH
Jesus walked in this world and He went out in the world to speak to
those who would listen.
Jesus chose His disciples and what Jesus said leave everything and
follow Me.
Those 12 disciples left everything behind and followed Jesus.
Then you might ask why does God bless us with homes, cars, furniture
and so on?
I wondered the same thing so I asked the Lord.
This is what He told me.
God blesses us with the things that He knows we need to survive in
this day and age.
He loves us and wants to bless us with nice things.
A roof over our heads to keep us dry and warm.
Food on the table so we don't go to bed hungry.
Clothes on our bodies well that is so we can leave our homes.
Shoes on our feet so it is easier to walk and seek the lost souls.
A car so we can get around easier to do the Lords work.
A bed so we can get a good rest so we can keep on keeping on.
He also blesses us with extras like my doll collection.
Then I asked do you want me to give it all up today?
His answer was this, do you put those things above Me?
That was an easy question absolutely not!!!
Then He said, these things are yours to enjoy for a time.
But if there is something you put over Me you must rid yourself of it.
Then God said, I am God and you are never to worship anything or
anyone but Me.
Sometimes we ask for things that if we had them we would worship
them.
You see God knows us better than we know ourselves.
God will never answer prayers that He knows will get us into trouble.
Before I asked Jesus into my heart I lost everything 3 times and had
to start over again.
I know now that it was God trying to get my attention.
He wanted to let me know how much He loved me and how much I
needed Him.
God didn't take them from me but He did allow them to be destroyed
once and stolen twice.
Then the Lord told me, My children will be asked to give up everything
one day.
Those who are not willing to give up the worldly things will no longer
be My children.
To my brothers and sisters in the Lord, you must search your heart
and see if you are holding something of the world too tightly.
Are you looking on them like a god?
When the Lord tells you leave everything behind and follow Me what
will you do?
Think before you answer and search your heart.
Are you going to be ready to give everything you have go and follow
the Lord?
I pray that you are willing to give up everything.
You will have eternal life with the Lord in Heaven.
When you give everthing of the world up you will inherit all the riches
in Heaven.
God wants us to have the best of everything but we have to
remember that there is nothing more important than God and our
relationship with Him.
If you think you can fake loving the Lord you are sadly mistaken.
God sees into your hearts and He knows in your heart.
Every thought that was in your mind is a secret to man but not to God.
God knows our every thought.
There should be nothing more important to you in this world than your
relationship with the Lord and that you are walking in His way.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord has given me,
will search their hearts and minds. If you think you wouldn't let
go of the worldly things pray and ask the Lord to help you so that
your heart and mind will be right and start seeking the Lord for
who He is. That you will grow in the Lord and get it right.
