BE TRUTHFUL TO YOURSELF
How many times have you seen someone put on an act and you knew
they weren't sincere?
They are trying to get something that they want.
Think about your own children.
How many times did they out of the blue come to you and say I love
you?
Warning lights flash.
Next they ask if they can spend the night with their friend.
Was that I love you sincere?
Absolutely not!
Do they love you?
Yes of course they love you.
But they were using the I love you to butter you up for a yes answer
to their next question.
Most of the time it worked too.
As we grew up we found we used the same tactics with other adults.
This is a very unhealthy way to living our lives.
Pretty soon we begin to believe the nonsence that we speak out.
Do you do the same thing when you go before God?
Before you do seak to Him make sure you are being truthful with
yourself.
I tell you now that God knows why you are coming to Him.
Don't insult God by thinking you can pull the wool over His eyes.
God knows why you fasted and came before Him in prayer.
If your prayer is selfish and does nothing to glorify the Lord, He won't
answer them.
But if you are praying for something that will glorify Him, He will hear
your prayers and answer them.
We must come before Him humbly.
If it is pride that brings us to Him it is a useless prayer.
God knows our minds.
God knows our hearts.
So who do you think you are fooling?
You can fool man more often than not.
But you will never fool God.
I for one do not want God angry at me.
How about you?
Are you willing to take a chance making God angry at you?
A God that all He had to do was speak the earth, sun, moon, and
stars into exsistance.
Think about it He made us from dirt, that He spoke and it was.
If He can do that there is nothing else He can not do.
He can and He will bring judgement against us.
Those who only are for themselves.
Those who decieve others so they never truly know the Lord.
God is patient.
But even God can over look so much before judgement must come to
pass.
God is a just God.
He will not harm those who are His children.
Those who try to glorify Him in all that they do.
Those who truly seek the Lord will see Him in all His Glory.
So now examine yourself.
Are you into God just for the blessings?
Are you self serving?
If that is what you find in yourself do not play with God.
My prayer is that if you found yourself to be selfish that you will
repent.
Turn your life around.
Forget about what the world has to offer.
Start that glorious journey with the Lord.
You will feel the joy of the Lord that is far greater than anything the
world has to offer you.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
