We have prayer meetings every Tuesday and Thursday.
As we were talking about the meetings one week we thought about all the different ways the Lord came into our presence.
There are times when you tingle all over.
The warmth fills you till you seem to over flow.
It's a good feeling but it isn't the only way the Lord comes into our presence.
Some people think if you don't feel all tinglely that the Lord wasn't there.
We've had some meetings where there wasn't a dry eye among us.
We felt the presence of the Lord so strong that it brought tears to our eyes.
We could feel His pain because there are so many lost souls.
Also we felt what He did for us on that cross.
How do we pay the debt we owe to Jesus?
So we give Him our hearts, minds, and souls and serve Him in the gifts He has given us.
We seek Him in all we do and pray that we are in His will.
Other times He makes His presence known in the Joy of the Lord.
There's laughter at these times.
It starts with one and before you know it the whole group is laughing.
We laughed till our sides hurt.
All who were at the meeting came away from the meeting knowing how joyful it can be in the presence of the Lord.
Then there are the meetings that there is little crying.
There is no laughing.
There are no tingles all over.
We praise the Lord.
We pray for the lost and the needs of others that have asked for prayer.
There is a peace that comes over us.
Knowing that the Lord has heard all of our prayers.
We go to our homes praising the Lord for all He has done fr us.
Our God is good.
Always has been and always will be.
So no matter how the Lord comes into your presence it is always good.
Don't restrict Him by saying there is only one way He comes into our presence.
Just love Him and thank Him for allowing us into His presence.
