DO UNTO
OTHERS
Remember when you were a kid and all the adults told you to remem-
ber the golden rule?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
As alwqys someone changed it to do unto others before they do it
unto you.
Taking something good that would make life easier and better,
turning it around to do bad things to someone before they can
do bad things to you.
A positive thought turned into a negative thought.
Just like the enemy.
God only wants good things for His children.
God wants His children to treat others with kindness.
The enemy wants everyone to be as miserable and angry as he is.
We need to get back to being good to others.
If someone slings mud at you come back with something nice to say.
Jesus said, love your enemies, bless those who curse, do good to
those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you
and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in
heaven. Read Matthew 5: 38-48.
Christians we need to seek more of the Lord.
To get to know Him better.
The more time we spend with the Lord our flesh will fall away.
People who don't know the Lord will be able to see Him in you.
They won't understand what it is but they will see something that
they don't see in their friends.
Your flesh is what the enemy speaks to.
If we aren't careful we may say things to someone who is being very
obnoxious that we shouldn't even think let alone say it out loud.
I know I'm far from perfect but if we strive for perfection we will walk
in the ways of the Lord more.
Sure there are going to be times that we don't hold our tongues but
at least think before you say something mean.
Have a little talk with Jesus before you deal with the problem.
The Lord knows about the problems we will face long before they
happen.
When they do happen He is with you.
If you are dealing with a lost soul you will get their attention by being
kind instead of acting like they did.
God wants us to treat everyone with kindness and compassion.
Wlhen we do those who don't know the Lord will see the difference.
When I was lost I noticed the difference between Claudia and the
others that were living on the dark side.
She witnessed to me and told me about the Lord.
It took time but one day I asked what do you have that I don't?
She told me she had Jesuis in her heart.
That the Holy Spirit showed her how to live in the ways of the Lord.
I asked Jesus into my heart that day.
I wanted the joy that God had given her.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord has given me,
will help you to realize that the Lord wants to help us through all
situations and that we have to treat our enemies with love too.
Let Jesus shine through you. The lost will see Him.
