THE QUIET MAN
We had a brother in the Lord his name was Danny.
The Lord called Danny the quiet man.
His voice was soft and low.
He didn't say much in a group of people.
But he listened to every word spoken about the Lord.
He praised the Lord quietly by reaching for the heavens.
He went out and spoke to others one on one and told them the good
news about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Danny worked with disabled people and had a love for them.
Danny knew how to love his fellow man.
Danny also had a wonderful sense of humor.
Danny became sick not too long ago and was admitted into the
hospital.
Many prayers went up for Danny.
Prayer chains were started across the country.
The prayers were heard and the Lord sent angels to watch over him.
Danny was at rest in a coma while the angels ministered to him.
We have a home church and Danny always sat in the back in the
rocking chair.
He did not sing said he could not carry a tune in a hand basket.
Danny read the words and raised his hands praising the Lord.
I will always look at that rocking chair and picture Danny sitting there
reading the words to the songs with his hands reaching for the
heavens praising the Lord.
Danny had the love right for the Lord and for his fellow man.
Danny has gone home to the Lord.
All are rejoicing in heaven to have Danny with them.
Danny will be missed by family, friends, and those who he helped
everyday.
Though we are never ready for someone to pass on we have to let
them go.
Danny will feel no more pain and be in the presence of the Lord for all
eternity.
We know that one day Danny will meet us when the Lord calls us
home.
My prayer is that all of Danny's family, and friends will find comfort in
these words the Lord gave me. Knowing we will all be together
again. Remember what a blessing it was to have spent time with
Danny. Danny had the love right. For those who did not know
Danny one day you will and know that Danny was and is truly a
blessing.
