Have you ever known someone that when they invited you to dinner they always say come hungry?
They loved to cook.
If they had 4 people coming over for dinner they had enough food for 8 people.
My mom always said no one who came to eat left the house hungry.
She always had 2 kinds of meat so everyone could eat what they liked.
Usually 2 kinds of potatoes and maybe some kind of pasta.
Then there was several kinds of fruits.
Plenty of vegetables too.
The desserts were always plentiful.
I heard one couple say they didn't eat for 2 days before one of my moms dinners.
Her attitude kind of rubbed off on me.
My husband always says are you cooking for an army or what.
But we were always hungry for something but couldn't figure out what it was.
Then I learned about God.
That He gave His only Son so that we could have eternal life.
The more I learned the more I wanted to know.
The food became less important.
I pondered over that and realized that Jesus was what I had been searching for all along.
The Lord started feeding my spirit more and more.
The more I seeked Him the more He showed me in the scriptures.
The more I praised Him the more I wanted to praise Him.
I wanted to shout from the roof top about Jesus.
Then He started showing me gifts that when He worked through me I was amazed what was happening to me.
With everyday that passes my hunger for the Lord grows.
All those years of cooking has taken a different position in my life.
Jesus is first and formost in my life.
In order to grow in the Lord you've got to go before Him hungry.
He will feed your spiritual man.
It's more satisfying than any amount of food a person could eat.
You'll have plenty of love, joy, peace, and hope to share with anyone who comes into your home.
The Lord fills our cup to over flowing to share with those who are searching for what's missing in their lives.
Introduce them to Jesus.
Never let their spirit man leave your home hungry.
Make sure their cup is running over so they can share with someone else.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
