Have you ever watched a couple ballroom dancing?
Their bodys appear to be floating across the floor.
The feet move in the right direction so they don't step on each other.
When the man twirles her, her arms must be in the right position so she doesn't punch her partner.
The arms must stay flexable yet strong and firm enough for the couple to look graceful.
The legs are the same way.
They must flex when necessary and firm when the fancy steps are done.
The man and woman have to have upper body strength too for the lifts.
Have you ever noticed the dancers feet are never flat footed they are on their toes to make more graceful moves?
Professional dancers must be very strong to endure the punishment they afflect on their bodies.
All the parts of their bodies work together to make the dance even and graceful.
They also have to listen to the music and more to it at the right moment.
The Body of Christ must flow spiritually much like the ballroom dancers.
As Christians we know that the Holy Spirit will lead us in what the Lord wants us to do.
But some times the flesh gets in the way and God can't use us while we are in that state of mind.
We should all be willing to go that extra mile for the Lord.
And if we aren't then we seriously need to look at our lives and the way we are living.
Since my husband has the gift of prophecy I know pretty quickly if I'm out of the will of God.
It's a blessing to know but I also spend a lot of tme repenting for my fleshly ways.
As most of us are in a church group there are things that the Lord expects of the group you are in.
How many times have you seen just a handful of people doing most of the Lords work?
How many people in your group truly respect the pastor and stand behind them?
How many are perfectly content in coming to the meetings on Sunday and somethimes in the middle of the week if it doesn't
interfer with your plans?
When church is over it's back to the norm doing your own thing.
How many of you went to the grocery store this week?
Would it have been so hard to put a flyer up in the store?
Are you willing to watch your neighbor living in the ways of the world and never once invited them to a meeting?
Because if you are you are saying that you don't care if they are headed for hell.
I can say without a doubt that the group that is not out there seeking the lost is not flowing.
We all have special gifts from the Lord and we are suppose to be using them to lead the lost to the Lord.
But we are also suppose to be going the extra mile for Him.
Don't ignore what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do.
As much as the Lord does for us we should feel blessed to serve Him in all the requests He puts before us.
God is not happy with us if we are not willing to seek the lost and lead them to Him.
Think about the 10 virgins.
There were 5 that went about doing as the Lord wanted from them.
The other 5 didn't.
They were all saved but only 5 entered Gods Kingdom.
Where are you?
Have you been going the extra mile for the Lord?
If the Lord treated us the way we treat Him we wouldn't be very happy at all.
But when God makes us a promise He honors that promise.
Have you ever promised God something only to disappoint God because we broke our promise?
We all have to work together to serve God in all that we do.
If each member of the group would keep their eyes on the Lord the Body of Christ would flow.
So come on and lets get together and seek the Lord and serve Him everyday.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
