Have you ever wondered what it will be like to see Jesus?
I was thinking just along those lines the other day.
I thought about all the times He had comforted me.When things got bad and all I could do was cry Jesus comforted me.
He told me He would always be there for me.
There were times when there was too much to do and not enough time to do it.
My energy gone yet I just kept going.
All the while complaining no one was there to help me.
When I finally sat down with a cup of coffee my mind running through the day I started to relax.
I could hear Him tell me look around.
I took a deep breath and realized everything was done.
Then I heard Him scold me.
Put Me first and everything will fall into place.
God gave us emotions anger, sorrow , happiness, and we have a serious side of course.
Then I thought why not a sense of humor?
Have you ever noticed that when we laugh how right the world seems to be?
I remember a time spending a whole afternoon racking leaves.
The yard looked so nice.
Then my son and the neighbor kids pushed me into the leaves.
They all jumped on me and covered me with leaves.
By the time we stepped back and noticed that it no longer looked like we had racked the yard.
We all laughed until our stomaches hurt..
I thought I do believe that God was laughing with us.
Then there was a time when I was feeling so tense I could harly stand it.
It was winter and the snow was deep.
I called my son in for dinner.
He didn't come so I stomped out ready to read him the riot act.
God decided to lighten my mood.
As soon as I walked out the door I was bombarded with snow balls.
I couln't let them get away with that and I joined in.
An hour later cold, wet, and hungry we went into the kitchen.
The kitchen was filled with smoke.
Our dinner was burned but we all laughed that much harder.
The menue that night was peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches and chips.
I know in my heart God was laughing too.
Then I thought no wonder God has given us a sense of humor.
We tend to take ourselves too seriously.
It's Gods way to tell us to lighten up.
Thank the good Lord for His sense of humor.
Thank God He has past a sense of humor on to us.
When things are getting you down and you feel like you're at the end of your rope watch what happens.
God will bring something along to make you laugh.
Laughter is healing and makes light of hard times.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
