MOVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Most Christians watch as their brothers and sister in the Lord grow
and get moved up level by level.
For years all the Lord had me doing was being a prayer warrior.
I kept asking why He didn't use me in other ways?
And at one point I was envious of those who were being used in a
mightier way.
I didn't think about being enveous was living in sin.
I took all different Bible studies.
I kept crying out to the Lord to use me more.
But I wasn't going any where until I had learned the lessons the Lord
was trying to teach me.
The first lesson was the level you are on is where you are more
effective.
The second was I had to quit enveying others because of what level
they were on.
The third thing was you have to learn the lessons well and pass the
tests to move up a level.
The forth thing is that we do not tell God what to do or when to do
it.
Then one day I was invited to a house meeting.
My eyes were opened and I finally saw why I hadn't gone to the next
level.
I wasn't prepared to move because I hadn't learned the things I
needed on the level I was on.
Something else I realized was I didn't open myself to the Lord so He
could teach me more.
I wasn't listening to the directives the Holy Spirit was telling me.
So I opened my eyes to see the truth.
I opened my ears to hear the Holy Spirit.
I opened myself to the Lord and started seeking Him in all things.
The lessons started coming faster.
The tests were hard at times and I had to redo that lesson until I
passed the test.
I started enjoying my time with the Lord.
I have finally started moving from one level to another.
But I have been a Christian for 28 years and that is how long the Lord
has been working with me.
There is no one on this earth that would have been as patient as the
Lord has been with me.
So if you are getting impatient because you don't seem to be moving
up to a different level, look within yourself.
What are you doing that is hindering the Lord from teaching you all you will need to know to get to the next level.
But remember with each level there is more responsibility that goes
along with the higher level.
Open yourself to the Lord so He can teach you faster.
Open your eyes so you will see the truths the Lord is trying to show
you.
Open your ears and listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling you.
Don't get in a hurry.
If you try to do it yourself it will come to nothing.
Enjoy the time you spend with the Lord.
Don't envey someone else because they seem to be moving up the
levels faster.
For one thing you don't know how long the Lord has been working with
them.
Don't get discouraged.
Remember all levels are as important as the other.
My prayer is that all who read these words from the Lord will be
encouraged to go forward and enjoy your time with the Lord.
