When someone told me just pray morning, noon, and night. It sounded so easy.
But I had a hard time doing that, sometimes I felt so dry that prayer seemed impossible.
I went to a sister and asked her how to pray, she told me never pray for anything for myself.
I went to the word of God and could not find any place that said that.
In fact God's word said to bring everything to the Lord in prayer.
My next question how do I pray?
I went to my Bible and read the Lord's Prayer.
I still did not understand, so I ask my sister in the Lord and this is what she told me.
First acknowledge your Heavenly Father.
Then praise and worship Him for He is worthy.
Then ask forgiveness for your sins.
Then give thanks for all your blessings.
But most important thank Him for Jesus.
Then tell Him all that is in your heart.
Always pray in Jesus name for intercedes for us to the Father.
Sometimes we do not know what to pray for.
Just praise and worship Him and He will help you.
He will help you pray.
Listen for the Lord to guide you, the Lord knows our needs.
He also wants us to for what we need.
The Lord always answers our prayers.
Journalize your prayers and watch as He answers them.
Prayers can also be like talking to your best friend.
Sometimes He will speak to you.
Sometimes He will lead you to a scripture that will give you your answers.
Sometimes He will send a Christian friend that will answer your prayers.
But no matter how He answers it is so awesome to watch Him move in your life.
When things go terribly wrong, fast and pray.
At meal times go to your prayer closet and pray.
God will hear you and give you peace that will cover you like a blanket.
The first time my friend told me to go to my closet and pray my answer was my closets are all too small.
She laughed at me for my response. The she explained it was some place that I could be alone with God.
Prayer time with our Heavenly Father is so very special.
But most of my prayers are every private.
It is a time that is just for Him and me.
Sometimes we laugh.
Sometimes we cry.
The one thing that I feel is I feel the Lord embrace me.
I'm consumed with His power, love, and understanding.
God knows what is in my heart.
That is why a prayer closet is so important.
To be totally intimate, with the Lord.
It is a time our Heavenly Father looks forward too.
In time you will find it is absolutely necessary time for you.
So my friend, pray, pray, and pray some more you will find peace you need in all that the craziness of the world.
Jesus hears your every prayer.
He will always be there when you cry out to Him.
Praise God the Father, Jesus our savior and the Holy Spirit.
