WHY WE NEED THE LORD
The world and all things are tainted with sin.
The evil is of this world and it is here to kill, destroy, and lie to us.
Evil calls good things bad and bad things good.
There is no love in the world.
People kill without even thinking about it.
They are jealous of what their neighbor has.
They lie to get their way or to make themself look good.
They will steal whatever they want.
There is no protection in this world.
So many things go on and it keeps getting worse.
The world says if it feels good do it.
Yet there is no joy in such a world as it is.
There is no hope in the world like it is today.
So how do those people survive in this world that are weak, disabled,
or all alone?
Those who can't do as those who are living as the world dictates.
How many times have you heard someone say money makes the
the world go around?
What a joke that is.
Why are the ones that have money seem so unhappy?
The fancy cars bring no happiness.
The big houses are just that a big house but they aren't a home.
All the diamonds and precious stones bring no joy in your life.
The designer clothes do not make a persons life all that it should be.
So what does bring joy into your life?
God created the earth and the heavens just by speaking the words.
God is love.
So when He spoke everything into exsistance it was with love.
Love makes the world go around not money.
Why do we need God in our lives?
God protects us against the evil in this world.
God gives us hope that even though things aren't always perfect He
is with us.
God promised us that He would never leave or forsake us.
God gave His only Son so that we would not parish but have ever
lasting life.
He, (Jesus), died on the Cross for all of the sins of the world.
God will heal us when we are sick or hurt.
Satan would just laugh and wish you would never get well.
He enjoys seeing you suffer.
Why would you want to be part of the world?
God supplies all of our needs.
Food, clothing, housing, and even more.
Jesus comforts us when a loved one passes away.
He give us a peace of mind when everything seems to go wrong.
When we ask Jesus into our hearts we are born again in Him.
We are a new person.
Jesus puts joy in us.
He blesses us with His presence.
He show us the way to live.
Jesus has prepared a mansion so when He calls us home there will
already be a place to live.
Not only the things is why we need God but for the love.
Knowing that we are so loved that Jesus would die and rise again so
we would live in the Kingdom of God for eternity.
To praise and worship Him for all He has done for us.
I have been down and out and the Lord would come to me and give
me a peace I couldn't get anywhere else.
It is the love that makes us need God so much.
The faith that He gives us and we know He is always there.
The hope that one day we will be standing face to face with Him and
praising and worshiping Him.
The peace when the world closes in on us and we just can't take it
anymore and Jesus is there to take care of our need for peace.
The joy within us even when we are having problems He can make us
smile.
Our God is so awesome that I wouldn't give Him up for all the money
in the world.
The money loves no one.
So you see the world will leave you feeling empty.
God will fill you with the things that will bring you only happiness.
My prayer is that all who read these words, the Lord has given me to
write, will feel the love, peace, joy, and faith that fill those who
are Gods children.
That you will share them with those who do not know the Lord.
