Do you spend a lot of your day afraid?

As a Christian I know God does not give us the spirit of fear.

That is from the evil one.

It is a way to get us to take our eyes off of Jesus.

I can remember when my son was growing up.

When he left home I prayed that a hedge of protection would be around him.

I would give it to the Lord and for a time I would be fine.

But let him be a half hour late and fear would take over.

My imagination would run wild.

When he came home I would be pacing the floor.

Then I sat down and would think about it.

How much faith was I showing in the Lord?

I would ask for forgiveness.

Christians all too often give something to the Lord.

By the time we get done praying we take it back and let fear set in.

We all fear something but Christians should not fear anything but God.

We need to give our fears to the Lord.

Then be still and know that God is in control.

The next time you find yourself in such a stupor because you are afraid

Stop and pray and leave it to God and leave it with Him.

You will find that God will give you a peace of mind that only He can give.

This is not saying that we should be reckless.

God did give us a brain and common sense and He expects us to use.

If it is something that we cannot control we have to let it go of our doubts that God is there for us.

He will never leave or forsake us.

Don't let fear rule you life.

God wants us to have a full life.

To enjoy all that He has created.

So praise our Heavenly Father, Jesus our savior, and the Holy Spirit.
