IN THE FIRE
Gold is purified by puttig it in the fire and melting it.
You skim all the junk off the top and continue to heat it till you get all
inpurities out of it.
The selling prise is greater because it is pure gold.
Since we are born in sin it is imparative that God purifies us.
He puts us in the fire and it is not a very comfortable place to be.
God will only have us in the fire for a short time.
He knows how much we can handle and won't leave us there longer
than we are able to stand it.
While we are in the fire all of the junk we have learned from the ways
of the world are being removed from us.
We come out of the fire stronger in the Lord than we were when we
were put in the fire.
Then there will come a test to see if we have learned the lessons the
Lord had taught us when we were in the fire.
God knows our weaknesses and so when we go into the fire it is to
strengthen us in those areas.
Or we could be under conviction about something that we are doing
wrong.
I have been in the fire many times.
Even though it was uncomfortable for my flesh my spirit enjoyed every
minute that I was in the fire because I was in the presence of the
Lord.
My flesh squarmed the whole time while in the fire.
But think of it this way.
If the Lord didn't show us where we are making mistakes what would
happen on judgement day?
Would we be sent away and to spend eternity in hell?
I don't know the answer to that I guess it would depend on what you
were doing that the Lord was trying to correct.
But even if you were in the book of life if we didn't go through the
fire it would be hard to have a closer walk with the Lord.
You would also be missing out on the strengthening of your
weaknesses so it will be harder to help the lost souls who
desperetly need our help.
The more you loose of your flesh the more the Lord can work through
us.
When a sinner gives their hearts to Jesus the Lord is blessed and the
angels sing praises to the Lord.
I guarentee that it will bless you when the Lord works through you
and a sinner comes into the light.
A baby is born and we will all rejoice.
Then the Lord will expect us to take care of the baby.
If you have been in the fire and are purified you will be instramental
in teaching the baby what they need to know to grow in the
Lord.
That is exciting thinking about the Lord working through me to raise
a baby in the Lords ways.
My prayer is that all those that read these words, the Lord gave me,
will open themselves to the Lord and welcome the purifacation
in the fire so they will grow in the Lord.
That they will want to be one of the chosen ones who will raise the
babies in the ways of the Lord.
