How much are you willing to do for someone you love?
Most of us as children loved Mom and Dad.
We did everything possible to please them.
We looked forward to the hugs and kisses.
All of this was part of Gods plan.
By the time we were teenagers we kind of pulled away from our parents.
Then we turned to our friends at school.
Instead of confiding in Mom and Dad we looked to our friends.
There was no problem too big we couldn't talk to our friends about.
No matter how much Mom tried to find out what was troubling us our
answer was always nothing.
Did you ever notice the hurt look on your Moms face when you didn't
talk to her?
Then you got married and did everything in your power to please your
mate.
Things went along fine while you both did your best to keep each
other happy.
Then the children came along.
Now the children came first and your mate seemed to be on the outside looking in.
One day you realized that you've turned into your parents.
You've come full circle.
While all this was happening where was God?
God was watching you.
God was blessing you.
He laughed and cried with you.
God was also very sad.
He had great plans for each of our lives.
But we were so busy living our lives that we forgot to thank our God who gave us everything.
How much more should we have been doing for God?
We considered everyones feelings except Gods.
Remember how sad your parents were when you didn't confide in them?
Can you even begin to imagine if your own child ignored you their
whole life?
Multiply that by billions and think about how sad God must feel.
We owe so much more to God than our parents, friends, mates, and
children.
Give Him thanks for everything not just when you sit down to eat.
How many people do you know that never acknowledge God even
when they sit down for a meal?
How about when you get up in the morning or when you go to bed did
you give Him thanks for all your blessing that day?
We need to thank and praise God throughout the day in everything
you do.
If not for the wisdom and strength God gives us what could we
accomplish?
Not only give thanks but seek God for what work He wants you to do.
What job does God have in the plan for your life to increace His Kingdom?
But most of all thank God for Jesus.
We've all fallen short of the Kingdom of God.
Jesus died for our sins so we might have eternal life.
If not for Jesus we would all be doomed to hell.
Ask God to reveal to you what His plan is for your life.
Then do your very best to make sure your life glorifies Him.
Know that the Lord is watching us and is pleased that we're living
for Him.
PRAISE GOD THE FATHER, JESUS OUR SAVIOR, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS.
