It's time to start thinking about planting your garden.
First you start by breaking up the ground.
Then you till the area that you are going to plant.
You select what you want to plant.
Some things need to be planted sooner than others.
You take great care to plant your garden plants when they need to be planted.
You make sure you leave plenty of room to produce the largest harvest possible.
You make sure they get plenty of water to grow up to be strong plants.
You check your garden for weeds and pull them out.
You might even put a scare crow in your garden to keep the birds from eating the fruits of your garden.
You spray your garden to make sure the bugs don't eat the entire plant.
As the vegetables ripen you pick them so they can be eaten or canned.
God plants a garden in us much the same way.
First he pulls out all the hurt and pain out of our hearts.
Then He tills our hearts to make them soft so the seeds that are planted will grow.
Someone comes to you and tells you about Jesus.
They tell you how much God loves you and plant that seed in a neat straight row and the love grows within you.
Then they tell you about the peace Jesus puts into our hearts.
The second row that is planted is the peace in a neat straight row.
Next they tell you about the joy that fills you.
That's the third row planted nice and neat and straight and your joy grows.
Hope is what they tell you about next.
It's planted in a neat straight line and hop begins to grow within your soul.
God makes sure the garden in your heart is watered by your sisters & brothers in Christ.
To help you stay on the path that leads to Jesus God gives you the Holy Spirt to live within you.
He will speak to your heart and lead you in your walk with the Lord.
To keep you safe from the evil of the world God sends an angel to watch over you.
As you grow in the ways of the Lord you to will go out and plant seeds in other hearts that don't know Jesus.
The longer you walk in the ways of the Lord you will grow stronger for the Lord is our strength.
Your walk with the Lord will begin to get more intimate.
The need you feel to serve Him will also grow.
My prayer is that you will enjoy your walk with the Lord as much as I am.
To love Him with all your heart, mind, and soul.
To desire more of Him with each passing day.
