BE FAITHFUL IN THE SMALL THINGS
Be faithful in the small things and God will increase your blessings.
We are blessed everyday.
So many people, including Christians, take blessings for granite.
The air you breathe, the things you see, what you hear, the ability to learn, and
the list goes on.
What about your husband or wife, your children, your parents, extended family,
church family, and friends.
Your house, furniture, clothes, car, electricity, running water in the house, and
your job.
The fact that God allows us to be in His presence is a huge blessing.
Everything we have or will have is a blessing from above.
Our Heavenly Father wants to bless us with nice things.
If we take care of what He blesses us with then He will increase our blessings.
When we see that we aren't handling our finances very well then we must go to
Him and ask Him for the wisdom to be a better stewart with the money He
supplies.
We have been without running water in the house for 3 years now.
We have rain barrels that collet the water for dishes, washing, and baths.
That is a blessing for us.
We also have a well out by the barn that we fill jugs for drinking and cooking.
That is also a huge blessing.
Instead of complaining about what you don't have be thankful for what you do
have.
Praise the Lord for all things.
Depend on the Lord for all things.
Give Him the glory for all things.
Our God is good and He will never leave or forsake us.
I know in my heart that one day the Lord will bless us wih running water in the
house.
But before that happens we will continue to praise the Lord for the rain barrels and
the well out by the barn.
Besides we don't have it so bad there are people living in carboard boxes.
When it rains their house falls apart.
But I know that even the homeless are blessed.
When they get a hot meal they do feel blessed.
When they get a new set of clothes and shoes they feel blessed.
Even when they get a chance to wash a set of clothes they count it as a
blessing.
My family, ( husband, 8 year old son, and I), were homeless.
We did get into a shelter.
But we were thankful for what we had.
After about 2 months in the shelter God blessed us with a house.
So you see I have been at the bottom but still looked to the Lord for my strength
to get us through those hard times.
I thank God for all my blessings.
I know what its like to loose everything.
The one thing I didn't loose was the Lord.
I know He carried me when I was so weary I couldn't go on.
God made sure my little boy had food to eat and he was kept warm too.
God has brought me through so many hard times.
I will say most of those hard times were caused by bad choices on our part.
I have learned the hard way to seek the Lords will in my life.
My prayer is that who ever reads these words, the Lord gave me, will be thankful
for what they do have. To quit blaming God for bad things that happen. If
you
really think about it wasn't it you choice that put you in the situation to begin
with. Praise the Lord for loving you so much that He was with you through it
all.
God bless you and your family, may the Lord keep you close to Him.

THAT LIVES WITHIN ALL CHRISTIANS
