I have often thought if I took a survey and asked what is most important in your life.
What kind of answer would
I get?
I am afraid God would not be happy with our answers.
Some would say money.
The world teaches
us that money makes the world go around.
As Christians we know this is so wrong.
Some would say a nice house.
Everyone wants to keep up with the Jones's.
God's word says that we should not envy anybody.
Some
would say a job that is important and have a lot of authority.
These people want to be powerful and be known and feared.
We know that if we seek recognition and praise from the world your reward from man is all you will receive.
Some
would say family.
This is a good thing but it should not at the top of things that are most important.
A lot
of Christians would say family.
Family is all part of God's plan.
Some would say character.
This is
also a good thing.
God's word tells us to be of good character.
As Christians the most important thing in
our lives should be our Heavenly Father.
Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
The Holy Spirit that lives within
us.
When we put God first, all things will follow.
The house, job, family, and the character.
For
those who do not know about Jesus the Christians must try to lead them to the Lord.
We must be a good witness and
live our lives as the Bible tells us.
Let Gods love, joy, peace, and faithfulness shine through us.
Those
that don't know Jesus Christ will want what we have.
May the joy, love, peace, wisdom, and strength be with you always.
Praise God the Father, Jesus our savior, and the Holy Spirit that lives within us.
